The filming for Heroes Vs. Villains commenced on August 9 on the island on Apia in Samoa at the same two campsites used for season 19. Jason Reitman Responds to Rumors of an Up in the... →
For me, the end of the movie is him making a choice of where he wants to go for the rest of his life and certainly he does have the rest of his life. Don’t read this article if you intend on reading the book and don’t want to be spoiled.  I did pull out this quote that I found pretty interesting, though.  Sounds like solid evidence that the ending is an optimistic one, no?
